Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relieved all his Commissioners, Special Advisers, and Special assistants as well as other political appointees of their positions.
In a circular released on Wednesday and signed by head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the affected political office holders should submit all government property in their care by Friday, May 26th to the most senior accounting officer/director in their respective MDAs
Meanwhile, political office holders whose appointments are tenure based and have not expired, are not affected by the directive until the expiration of their tenure.

The statement added that the governor wishes all the affected appointees success in their future endeavors.
