Gunmen have in less than Forty-eight hours struck again at the Police station in Ebonyi State, South East Nigeria, this time killing three operatives attached to the Oshiri Police Division in Onicha Local Government Area.

The Police however returned fire and killed two of the six suspected gunmen, while four reportedly fled the scene of the attack.

Wednesday’s attack is coming on the heels of a similar incident on Monday night at a Police checkpoint, just a few poles away from the State Police Command headquarters in Abakaliki in which a Police Inspector was killed.
