President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday arrived the Presidential Villa Abuja at exactly 2:30pm on his first official day as President.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, as well as other high-ranking government officials including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijjani Umar, welcomed him at the forecourt of his office.
Others in attendance included Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance Mr Wale Edun, Mr. Dele Alake, and Hon. James Fake.

Sources in the Villa told our Correspondent that Tinubu is scheduled to meet with the NNPCL GCEO Kyari and CBN Governor Emefiele on his arrival at the office, reportedly to address the brewing fuel crisis.
