The Military says no fewer than 135 bandits have been killed in air raids executed between Wednesday and Friday at several locations in Katsina and Zamfara States.
A statement by the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations Major-General John Enenche, indicates that the operation was executed by the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji and several camps belonging to the bandits were decimated.
The Air Component dispatched its attack aircraft to the locations in multiple bombing runs, some of which were executed simultaneously.
He explained that the air strikes were undertaken sequel to credible human intelligence reports as well as series of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions that led to the identification of the camps.

He said the camps identified included Abu Radde Camps 1 and 2 and Dunya in Jibia and DanMusa LGAs of Katsina State as well as Hassan Tagwaye’s Camp; Alhaji Auta’s Camp and Maikomi in Birnin Magaji and Zurmi LGAs of Zamfara State.
