The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba, has deployed a new Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Musa, as the twenty-fifth Commissioner of Police for the Katsina State Command.
In a statement by the spokesman of the Police, Assistant Superintendent Abubakar-Sadiq Aliyu, CP Musa hails from Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.

The statement further said that the new CP was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP on May 18, 1992.
CP Musa has served the force in various capacities, across all the geopolitical zones of the country, ranging from administration, investigation, and operational departments.
He seeks support of residents of the state in the course of the discharge of his duties against terrorism and other sundry crimes.
