The Abia State Government has announced the death of the Commissioner for Environment, Solomon Ogunji.
The Commissioner who was also the Chairman of the State Covid-19 Task Force passed away on Saturday at the Abia State University Teaching Hospital, Aba. He died of high blood pressure related complications.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi Kalu, the Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu who received the sad news with shock has personally communicated and condoled with the family of the deceased.
