In a move to strengthen the fight against insecurity in the state and the northeast sub-region, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, has assured the people of his government’s commitment, towards providing a satellite base tracking system
Governor Bala Mohammed disclosed this when he received the North East Directors Of State Security Service, DSS, in Government House Bauchi.
After holding a one-day North East Conference In Bauchi, Directors Of State Security, led by the Director of Security Service, Bauchi State, Hussaini Abdullahi, said they were in the Government House to appreciate the governor for his support and to intimate him of the resolutions made.
Receiving the team, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, commended the security agencies for the effective discharge of their responsibilities, and lamented some pockets of abduction recently, witnessed in the state.

Governor Bala Mohammed said, arrangements have gone far between the Bauchi state government and the Chinese, to provide a modern system of tackling insecurity, that will benefit not only the state but the northeast subregion.
He also speaks on the measures taken to address the lingering farmer-herder clashes in the state and requests for continued support.
Governor Bala said, security meetings are very important for the sub-region, since they will enable the government find solutions to the security challenges, facing the people.
