The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu has hailed Nigerian Fathers for their contributions to the development of the family and society.
Speaking after the 2023 Fathers’ Day celebration mass which held at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church in Benin City, the Deputy Governor noted the enormous responsibilities vested on the head of the family which he had to meet.
Philip Shaibu commended their efforts and advised them to keep working hard to provide for and to take care of their families.

He says the economic challenges notwithstanding, they can increase their incomes through innovative ideas and hard work.
Shaibu reiterated that the commemoration of Fathers’ day is an opportunity to celebrate the men for all that they do.
