Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, South East Nigeria has approved the appointment of 24 persons into key positions in his government.
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Chidiebere Onyia named Victor Udeh as the Chief of Staff to the Governor, while Ken Chukwuegbo is the new Principal Secretary to the Government.
Also appointed as the Head of Service is Kenneth Ugwu; Tony Okenwa is the State Accountant General, just as Mrs Angela Nnamani is to serve as the Executive Chairman, of Enugu State Internal Revenue Service.

In other appointments, Governor Mbah named Fred Nnajio as the State Chief of Protocols; Dan Nwomeh is the Senior Special Assist on Mainstream Media; Reuben Onyishi takes the office of Senior Special Assistant on New Media; while Uche Anichukwu is the Senior Special Assistant on External Relations, among others.
The statement indicates that all the appointments are with immediate effect.
