Plateau State Government has extended the lockdown imposed on the State to prevent the spread of Coronavirus for the ninth week.
The State Commissioner for Information Dan Manjang, in a statement on Sunday confirmed the extension of the lockdown ; reminding residents that the measure still applies on Mondays and Wednesdays with partial lockdown from Thursday to Sunday.

According to the information commissioner, the government is aware of the economic hardship of the lockdown occasioned by Covid-19 pandemic; adding that the State Government is taking every step to provide relief.
