Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello has made two practicing journalists in the state millionaires, after receiving cash prizes as winners of the maiden edition of the GYB Essay Competition for journalists in the state.
The Correspondent of The Sun Newspaper in Kogi State, Emmanuel Adeyemi, won the competition with a total score of seventy-five point eight percent to clinch the star prize of two million naira.
This is the first essay competition for practicing journalists in Kogi state by the governor, with this edition for print and online journalists, as the competitors write on activities and projects of Governor Yahaya Bello.
After being evaluated by a team of seasoned journalists, Kogi State Correspondent of The Sun Newspaper, Emmanuel Adeyemi emerged winner.
