Bendel Insurance of Benin have qualified for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup after defeating Rangers International of Enugu one nil at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba to emerge champions of the 2023 Federation cup.
Imade Osakhore scored from the spot as the Benin Gunners defeated their old rivals the flying antelopes to relive memories of the 1978 final when Bendel Insurance defeated Enugu Rangers 3 nil to lift the federation cup.
Rangers were reduced to ten men following the sending off of Collins Ugwueze.
