Kano state public complaints and anti-corruption Commission Chairman Muhyi Magaji says the commission will go ahead with its investigation of alleged land scam and other dealings leveled against the deposed Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi.

This follows the dismissal of enforcement of fundamental human rights suit instituted by the deposed Emir, against the commission by the federal high Court on Monday.

The Federal High Court presided by Justice Ambrose Lewis-Allagoa had dismissed a suit filed by the 14th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, seeking an order to restrain Kano state Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission from Investigating him over the allegation of the land scam.

The public complaints and anti-corruption boss said that his commission is therefore willing to travel out of the state to interview the deposed Emir for his side of the story.

Counsel to the former Emir Yahaya Isa, however, said they were not informed about the judgment until they saw it on news .

Isa added they will request for a copy of the judgment before thinking of the next line of action.
