The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 29 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s El-el-Kabir celebration and felicitates with Muslims home and abroad.
A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Oluwatoyin Akinlade, enjoined Muslims and all Nigerians to make sacrifices for the growth and development of the country.

The Federal Government further expressed optimism that the prayers and sacrifices that come with the celebration as well as the message of Eid-el-Kabir will bring about peace, unity and progress in the country.
