Youths in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State have reportedly deserted the community over the killing of a naval officer.
Sources revealed that arguments ensued between the dead officer and some youths in the community which led to some of them pouncing on him before they eventually snuffed life out of him.
Some of them were said to have fled to their farms, while some are reported to be hiding in other communities far away.
Consequently, reports say military men have stormed the little community searching for the killers of the officer.

spokesperson of the state Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya who confirmed the incident said the fleeing killers of the naval officer were said to have attacked him with iron objects and planks.
She said when Police visited the scene of the incident, the victim was taken to hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
The Police said the attackers are currently at large and no one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
