Bandits in their numbers Saturday morning reportedly killed the village head of FAFU, Dikko usman of Mazoji village in Matazu local government area of Katsina State. This comes barely 3 weeks after bandits also murdered the district head of Yantumaki, Atiku abubakar in Danmusa local government of the State.
A source who revealed this to ait.live said that, the bandits in stormed the village at about 2:am on Saturday morning and operated for several hours before killing the traditional leader at his house. The actual number of casualties is however yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
Similarly, reports also have it that bandits in their numbers have again reportedly attacked several communities in Batsari and Faskari local government areas of Katsina state late on friday night barely days after several persons were killed in the same area during previous attacks.

The source also confirmed that Dangeza village in Batsari was attacked by the bandits while Yankara, Ungwar kafa, Ungwar danboka, Ungwar gwanki communities of Faskari local government area were also attacked. Residents of the attacked villages especially women and children were seen trooping out of the villages and taking refuge in nearby towns.
The police in the State is yet to make official confirmation of these latest developments.
