Akwa Ibom state Governor, Umo Eno has ordered an audit of the facilities and operators of the state-owned Ibom Power Company in order to have improved power generation and distribution by the company.
Governor Eno stated this during a familiarization tour of the company in the Ikot Abasi local government area of Akwa Ibom state.
Akwa Ibom state Governor, Umo Eno has been going around major public infrastructure on fact-finding missions. This time he was at the Ibom Power Company, Ikot Abasi to see things for himself. Showed around by the chairman of the company, Etido Inyang, Governor Eno said the tour was very revealing and called for an audit.

He commended the management for their advice in running the company efficiently.
