Nigeria has successfully treated nearly 6,000 Covid-19 patients following the discharge of 344 more patients in bringing the total to 5,967.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced 587 new Covid-19 infections in 18 states with total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 17,735.

The breakdown of the 587 new infections include Lagos-155, Edo-75, FCT-67, Rivers-65, Oyo-56, Delta-50 and Bayelsa-25. Others are Plateau and Kaduna-18 each; Enugu-17; Borno and Ogun-12 each; Ondo-7; Kwara-4; Kano and Gombe-2 each; Sokoto and Kebbi-1 each
There are 14 Covid-19 fatalities recorded across Nigeria in last 24 hours bringing the death toll to 469
