Chairman of Gombe State Task Force on COVID-19, Professor Idris Mohammed, has expressed his appreciation to the various multinational organizations and business firms for their support to the task force in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic calling them partners in the fight.
The Chairman disclosed this during the presentation of operational items from a Chinese construction firm, Ganan Construction Company.
With the call for support from the state task force giving the growing numbers of people in the state with covid-19, they received some items donated by a Chinese firm which said it’s their contribution to the fight against the deadly Corona virus in the state.
Items donated include 30, 000 pieces of face mask, 4, 000 pieces of methanol sanitizers and 40 containers of sprayers for environmental sanitation.
Mohammed acknowledged the efforts of the organization to the task force assuring of transparent and judicious use of the items donated.

With the growing numbers of people with the corona virus in the state the task force wants the people to adhere more to preventive guidelines as the virus enters the community transmission stage.
