Governorship Aspirant Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has emerged Edo State APC Governorship Standard bearer in Monday’s primary election conducted across the state.

Ize-Iyamu clinched the coveted position with a wide margin across all the local government areas.In Oredo, Ize Iyamu scored 1902; beating Osaro Obazee with 308 and Pius Odudu with 67 votes.

Ize Iyamu won in Ovia South West with a total of 1668 vote; leaving Pius Odudu to the 2nd place with 108 votes and Osaro Obazee with 79 polls.

The story was the same in Ovia Northeast where Ize Iyamu won massively with 1650 votes against Pius Odudu with 124 and Osaro Obazee with 70 votes respectively.

Ize Iyamu continued with his streak of victory in Ikpoba okha scoring 1581; leaving both Pius Odubu and Osaro Obazee to a distant second and third positions.

In Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Ize Iyamu clinched victory winning by a wide margin of 1394 to Pius Odubu’s run of 274 votes and Osaro Obazee’s 183 votes.

Orhionmwon Local Government is home to Ize Iyamu and he made it count wining with 1750. Pius Odudu came second with 418 ahead of Osaro Obazee with 171 votes.

Ize Iyamu also won at Egor polling a total of 1794 votes against Pius Odudu with 81 votes and Osaro Obazee managing to rake in 53 votes. Ize Iyamu also won in Esan Central Local Government scoring 1333 votes to defeat Pius Odudu with 170 and Osaro Obazee with 114.

Ize Iyamu continued with his dominance in Igueben Local Government Area with a lion share of 1,300 votes to push Pius Odubu to the second position with 251 votes and Osaro Obazee to a far distant third position with 178. Ize Iyamu also won in Esan Southeast Local Government Area with 1400.

Results from Esan West, Akoko Edo, Esan Northeast, Etsako Central, Owan East, Owan West, Etsako East and Etsako West show Ize Iyamu in unassailable lead.
