Gombe state governor Inuwa Yahaya is soliciting the support of various northern state government and the federal government to get to the root of all the problems bedeviling the region and come up with a solution for a peaceful North.
The governor who is also the chairman of the Northern Governors Forum briefed state House correspondents after his meeting with the Vice president, Kashim Shettima where he discussed issues of security and flooding in the Region.

Inuwa Yahaya said that the Northern are states are however strategizing to find lasting solution to the perennial flooding in the region to avoid a repeat of the 2022 devastating flood .
He calls all relevant agencies of government to double their efforts and individuals who have interest on the environment and environmental control to work together with the government in order to solve the menace.
