The operation tagged “Fox Hunt 2” by the police was carried out on June 10, in connection with a $35 Million Covid-19 ventilator fraud. The raid saw about 12 members of the gang arrested.

Several items including 13 luxury cars estimated to be worth over 2.6 billion Naira were recovered from the gang.

According to the police, a total of one million, nine hundred and twenty-six thousand, four hundred (1,926,400) victims have been targeted by the syndicate in a scheme that spanned several months.
