The Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) says over 17 million talents outside the shore of the country can be harnessed for the good of the nation.
Chairman of NIDCOM Abike Dabiri-Erewa made the assertion in Abuja ahead of the 17th Annual National Diaspora Day.
She noted that Nigerians in the Diaspora have become worthy ambassadors through their contributions to their host communities
She called on governments, private and public sectors, to create a conducive atmosphere for Nigerians in Diaspora in the interest of national economic growth.
The theme for 2023 Diaspora Day is “Consolidating Diaspora Engagement for National Development.”
