The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Kayode Popoola has debunked reports making the rounds that the Kara Bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will be shut completely for 2 days.
In a phone interview with ait.live, Popoola said only a section of the outbound Lagos will be closed for integrity tests.

He said the section will be closed from midnight Friday to Sunday to ascertain the serviceability of the Bridge after the fire incident on Sunday involving 3 tankers in which 2 people lost their lives.
