A Niger state police command patrol team attached to Gawu Babangida division, has intercepted a stolen vehicle while the occupant was arrested along Minna- Suleja road.
In a statement signed by the police public relations officer, ASP Wasiu abiodun, the suspect was shot on his leg when he took to his heels, before his arrest.
The forty five year old suspect named, Baba aliyu, was later rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The statement added that the vehicle was stolen at fouad mosque in wuse zone three area in Abuja.
The suspect according to the statement, would be charged to court, as soon as investigations are concluded.
