Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reiterated his administration’s commitment to the provision of palliatives care, to cushion the economic hardship, occasioned by the fuel subsidy removal.
Governor Bala Mohammed gave the assurance during the official launch of thirty units of public buses at the Bauchi Central Motor Park.
Since the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government, some Nigerians have been experiencing hardship in running their day-to-day activities, especially in the area of transportation.

This development has prompted the government of Bala Mohammed to secure eighteen-seater buses to ease the suffering of the people.
Governor Bala Mohammed said other plans are underway, to provide more palliatives care, aimed at addressing the economic hardship and sufferings of the less privileged in society.
Other speakers at the occasion included the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Sulaiman, who appreciated the gesture of the Bauchi State governor, saying that the gesture is an indication of a commitment to improve the quality of lives of the citizens, as well as create a sustainable and inclusive business environment.
