The killing of a farmer in Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State by suspected herdsmen has led to a protest by people of the area.
The deceased, Eugene Iloabara was a farmer and palm wine tapper from Isiokwe in Oji-River LGA.
Town union leaders in the local government who led the protest lamented the incessant attacks, killings, molestations and devastation of their farmlands by herdsmen.

The leaders in a communiqué at the end of the protest issued 3-day ultimatum for all herdsmen to leave their communities.
