The Covid-19 death toll in Nigeria has risen to 645 following 11 new fatalities in the last 24 hours.
Also in the last 24 hours, the country recorded 544 new Covid-19 infections in 19 states with the total number of confirmed cases now put at 28,711.
The 544 new infections include 199 in Lagos; Ebonyi-65; Oyo-47; Ondo-46; Ogun-31; Edo-30; FCT-28 and Katsina-25. Others are Plateau-15; Bayelsa-11; Kaduna and Adamawa-10; Akwa Ibom-8; Gombe-7; Kano-4; Taraba-3; Rivers and Abia-2; Ekiti-1
There are 203 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 11,665.
