The President Of The National Association Of Resident Doctors, NARD, Emeka Orji, says his members will continue with the ongoing indefinite strike until the Federal Government takes reasonable steps to address the union’s demands.

Coming out of the NEC Meeting held in Lagos Saturday, under the theme, “Bullying in the Medical Sector”, Emeka Orij and his members expressed disappointment over the inability of the government to resolve the contending issues about two months after the agreed date.

The doctors also frowned at the increasing wave of insecurity in the country, in the face of harsh economic realities faced by the members and other Nigerians.

The National Association Of Resident Doctors began an indefinite strike on the 26th of July to register the union’s displeasure over the government’s continued delay in addressing the demands of members.
