Governor Bala Mohammed Of Bauchi State has appealed to the Organised Labour to consider the fuel subsidy removal as good for the nation.
The governor made the appeal at the inauguration of the newly appointed Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the twenty Local Government Areas of Bauchi State, Northeast Nigeria.

The twenty Local Government caretaker committee chairmen, alongside their deputies, took the Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance, as administered by the state’s Chief Judge, Rabi Umar.

Congratulating the newly inaugurated Caretaker Committee Chairmen, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, charged them to be more vigilant and security conscious, in ensuring the maximum protection of lives and property across their respective domains.

Commenting on the ongoing national protest by the labour unions over the removal of fuel subsidy, Governor Bala Mohammed urged the Organised Labour to consider the removal as good for the nation, that measures would be taken to cushion the effect of the removal.

Governor Bala Mohammed assured the citizens of the judicious distribution of the palliatives, to cushion the effects of the hardship being faced by the people.
