Terrorists have abducted a Catholic priest and a seminarian at Geydna community in Niger State, North-Central Nigeria. The victims have been identified as Reverend Father Paul Sanogo and Seminarian Melchior.
A statement signed by the Bishop of Minna Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Martins Igwe Uzoukwu, said the incident happened in the early hours of Thursday, August 3, 2023.
The Bishop says the victims were abducted at the priest’s residence at Gyedna, in Niger State.
He therefore called on all to pray for the safe release of the priest and the seminarian.
