Police in Bauchi State in collaboration with other security agencies, have killed a number of kidnappers and dismantled their hideouts in Ningi Burra Forest in the Ningi Local Government area of the state.
Police Commissioner Auwal Mohammed made this public during an assessment visit to the affected communities.

Among those arrested were Idris Haruna and Sulaiman Haruna, who confessed to their involvement in operations that led to the recent killing of at least five people including the Imam of Kada Village, who was reportedly brought out of the mosque and killed.
