An independent panel has been set up by the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA in Lagos State to investigate the death of Doctor Vwaere Diaso.
The panel consists of six Medical Doctors, two representatives from the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of NMA, Benjamin Olowojebutu says the probe is to have a holistic approach to the issues surrounding the death of the late Doctor with a view to ensuring standards are set and lives secured.

The 26-year-old Medical Officer, Vwaere Diaso died on Tuesday, August 1 from injuries sustained from a faulty elevator, which came crashing at the General Hospital Odan in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria
Doctor Vwaere had two weeks to completing her Housemanship before she met her untimely death.
