The new General Officer Commanding, 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu, Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada, Tuesday met with Governor Peter Mbah at the Government House Enugu, South East Nigeria.
The two leaders discussed the current security challenges in the South East region and Enugu State in particular.
The new GOC told Governor Mbah that he was at Government House as part of his familiarization tour and contact building with critical stakeholders in his areas of command.
Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada who is the 38th GOC, 82 Division of the Nigerian Army, Enugu promised to work in synergy with other security agencies to bring about the desired peace not only in Enugu State but the entire South East region.

He commended the people of Enugu state and the new administration for their support to the Nigerian Army over time.
Governor Peter Mbah warmly received the new Army head, Major General Hassan Taiwo Dada, expressing appreciation for his visit and kind words about the State.
Mbah says the coming of the new GOC to the Army command is timely, considering the ongoing efforts of his administration to end the sit-at-home order in the area.
