Lack of confidence in the leadership of Musa Nasko as House Leader as well as Andrew Doma was the reason why members of the Niger State House of Assembly removed them from office.
The change was effected during the House sitting on Thursday, as a member representing Lavun Constituency, Ndagi Baba, raised the motion for their removal.
Baba told his colleagues that the House did not have confidence in the two principal officers, and therefore, asked that they be changed.
The Speaker of the House, Abdullahi Wuse, said he was not aware of the development, as he read the order of the constitution to the house.
A member representing Wushishi constituency, Bashir Lokogoma, nominated Binta Mamman as the new Deputy Leader.
He was seconded by the member representing Bosso constituency, Maliki Madaki.
