Former and serving presidents of Nigeria have extolled the roles played by South-South leader, Edwin Clark in the last 60 years and his dedication to the unity of Nigeria particularly in bridging regional gaps across the country.
This was at the public book presentation of Clark’s autobiography, titled “Brutally Frank” held in Abuja to mark his 96th birthday.
The first to mount the podium was the book’s chief launcher and former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon who said at age 96, Clark is still been honoured and respected by eminent personalities which describes his towering legacy of national service.

President Bola Tinubu, who was represented by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume used the occasion to again appeal to Nigerians to bear the current pains and sufferings they are undergoing due to the sudden removal of the fuel subsidy.
The list of those who also graced the occasion include former and serving National Assembly members; serving and former Governors; the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero and other first class monarchs across the country.
