About 30 states in Nigeria record 653 new Covid-19 cases

New data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC indicates that 28 states have recorded 653 new Covid-19 cases with the total number of confirmed cases now 36,107.

The 653 new cases have been reported in Lagos-115; Kwara-85; Enugu-80; FCT-78; Rivers-36; Ondo-35; Oyo-30; Katsina-28; Kaduna and Abia-19 each.

Others are Nasarawa-18; Plateau-17; Imo-16; Ogun, Ebonyi, Benue and Kano-9 each; Delta-8; Bauchi-7; Ekiti-6; Gombe, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Osun-4 each; Cross River, Yobe, Borno and Zamfara-1 each.

Meanwhile, 305 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 14,938.

There are 6 new Covid-19 fatalities reported in Nigeria with the death toll rising to 778.
