The Ekiti State Government has commenced the decontamination of public schools in the state. The exercise is in preparation for the planned reopening of schools in the State.
Speaking during the exercise, the State Commissioner for Environment, Gbenga Agbeyo, said the State Government is committed to the well-being of the residents.

Agbeyo urged residents to obey all Covid-19 protocols issued by the government in order to continue to flatten the curve of Covid-19 in Ekiti State.
He added that the State Government is working with relevant stakeholders to ensure private schools are not left out of the decontamination exercise.
