Katsina state chapter of the All progressives congress, APC, has debunked allegations of internal crisis within the party structures and members.

Governor Aminu Masari who is the leader of the party in the state, made this known during a meeting held at the people’s square, katsina.
The meeting was attended by all the 361 ward executives and the state executives of the APC.

The Governor while addressing the party members at the meeting said that, the forum was convened to brief them on the recent dissolution of the National Working Committee,NWC, of the party done by President Muhammad Buhari.

He further said that, the meeting was meant to inform the state leadership of the party on the directive that all litigations and court cases be withdrawn within fourteen days to enable the interim management committee conduct a mini convention to fill in vacancies of those that lost offices as a result of the dissolution of the central working committee at the national headquarters of the party.

Masari also said that, from the proceedings of the meeting, no single case is in any court of jurisdiction within katsina state or even outside the state that APC is currently involved in calling for more unity among party members.

On security issues faced by the state, the Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment towards ensuring peace and stability.

He said, the current insecurity should not be left in the hands of security agencies alone stressing that, everyone needs to contribute their quota as he warned the people against serving as informants to the bandits as well as misinform the security agencies on the movements of the bandits.

Masari also directed that any APC official aspiring for political office in the forthcoming 2023 general elections would lose his leadership positions in the party saying that, the current administration is barely one year old into its second tenure.
