Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa says those at the highest echelon of offices are expected to lead by example.
He was speaking in terms of punctuality, accountability and commitment to duty.
He says the lack of those qualities will adversely impinge on the growth of the government system.
Governor Okowa made this known during the swearing in of five permanent secretaries in the state civil service and the inauguration of the state public procurement council in Asaba.
He says it’s difficult to implement a vision in the absence of the basic understanding of its philosophical framework.
