Covid-19 deaths in Nigeria hit 801

In the last 24 hours, Nigeria has recorded 12 new Covid-19 fatalities. This has taken the death toll to 801.

Meanwhile, 562 new Covid-19 infections have been recorded in 21 states with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria rising to 37,225.

The new Covid-19 cases are reported in FCT-102; Lagos-100; Plateau-52, Kwara-50; Abia-47; Kaduna-35; Benue-34, Oyo-26; Ebonyi-24; Kano-16 and Niger-15.

Others are Anambra-14; Gombe-12; Edo-11; Rivers-6; Nasarawa and Delta-5; Borno-3; Enugu and Bauchi-2 each; Kebbi-1.

There are 228 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 15,333.
