Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Campaign Council in Edo State, Dan Orbih says the resignation of the Chairman of the Post Primary Education Board, Gabriel Oiboh and a member of the board, Osayemwenre Osawe is an indication that the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole singlehandedly made most of the appointments in the Governor Godwin Obaseki led administration.
Chairman of the State Campaign Council emphasised that the current gale of resignation is not coming as a surprise to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP because the appointees were not nominated by the Governor initially.
Dan Orbih insisted that the resignations will have no effect on the chances of the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election.
Orbih stressed that the people of Edo have made up their minds to remove godfatherism from the state politics.
