An aircraft operated by United Nigeria Airlines, on Friday evening skidded off the runway upon landing at the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.
The aircraft with registration number 5N BWY upon landing at the Lagos Airport, from Owerri, skidded off the Runway due to downpour.

All passengers on board as well as the crew were successfully evacuated alongside their luggage, and nobody was hurt.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, NSIB says it has been notified of the serious incident involving the Embraer ERJ145 aircraft operated by United Nigeria Airlines and it has commenced investigation
NSIB in a statement by its spokesperson, Tunji Oketumbi confirmed that all 51 passengers and four crew members were successfully evacuated and solicits for information from the general public in form of pictures, video or recording evidence that will assist them conduct a comprehensive investigation.
