Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has set up a five-member taskforce to handle the relocation or Airlines from the old terminal building of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos to the new Chinese built facility.

Keyamo noted that the committee will be concerned about the teething problems of relocating the international airlines to the new terminal which was necessitated by the recent fire outbreak at the old international terminal.

The taskforce headed by a retired permanent secretary and former Director of the Department of Air Transport Management, Hassan Musa has the primary assignment to resolve passenger concerns as it relates to issues stemming from terminal relocation and efforts at streamlining processes at both terminals while closely monitoring operations for 24 hours daily.
