Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has inauguted three 42-bed ultra-modern General Hospitals built in the oil producing areas of the state.
The Governor said the project is to change the narrative in the developmental strides of the state, especially in the affected three local government areas of Imo State.
The excitement of the people knew no bounds in Ohaji Egbema, Oguta and Oru East Local Government Areas with oil producing communities in Imo State.

Uzodimma after inspecting the facilities regretted that since the creation of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC there has not been any visible evidence to show in the affected oil communities.

He said that the three hospitals was built and equipped by the Imo State Government from the 13% derivation allocation of ISOPADEC.

ISOPADEC Board Chairman, traditional rulers and some community members commended the Uzodimma-led administration for their giant strides in establishing the hospitals to meet the healthcare needs of the people.
The Governor also inaugurated a bridge named after the late Nigerian politician, Senator Arthur Nzeribe at Oguta Local Government Area.
