Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Ali pate, says the President Tinubu administration is focused on good leadership and strengthening of all the regulatory institutions to ensure citizens get quality clinical services, medical products and care.
Professor Pate said this during his maiden media briefing along with the Minister of State, Tunji Alausa in Abuja on Saturday after their inauguration by President Bola Tinubu.

The two Health Ministers took turns to dish out their agenda which they hope will improve the health of Nigerians.
Second on the list is population outcomes by ensuring increase in disease surveillance,
accelerate and sustain the reduction in communicable diseases-especially among children and arrest the progression of growing non-communicable diseases-particularly lifestyle diseases like Diabetes, Cancers and Cardiovascular disease which are becoming more prevalent with age.
Professor Pate says he will unlock medical value chain to ensure the production of medical devices, products and pharmaceuticals within Nigeria for Nigerians and making sure their health security is guaranteed. Alausa on the other hand says they will ensure a robust research platform, and ensure right for effective planning
The Ministers expressed confidence that with the agenda, Nigeria will be prepared and able to effectively respond to outbreaks, pandemics, and humanitarian crises.
