The campaign council of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the Edo state governorship election says if the September nineteen election will be violence-free, the Inspector General of Police and President Muhammadu Buhari must as a matter of urgency caution Governor Godwin Obaseki, his deputy and his supporters to desist from politics of violence, intimidation and despotism.

The chairman of the state APC media campaign council, John Mayaki disclosed this in Benin City while speaking to journalists on happenings in the build-up to the governorship election.
