The Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has commissioned three strategic roads which were newly reconstructed by his administration in Aba, the state’s commercial city.
They are; the Emelogu road, Shallom road and the Phase 1 of the popular Cemetry road.
Speaking at the event, Governor Otti reassured the people of his commitment towards fulfilling his campaign promises.
The Governor explained that what Aba needs is to open it up with good infrastructure and enabling environment that would support the social and economic lives of the people.
Governor Otti noted that the reconstructed Cemetery Market road had not been used for over 20 years due to its deplorable condition, but that his administration is determined to complete the rebuilding of the city’s entire road network.

The Abia State Government has also commenced the installation of street lights on major streets and roads in Aba and Umuahia, the state capital, a move aimed at reducing crime in the State.
