The Congolese Government has denied reports about a coup attempt against President Denis Nguesso, who has been in power for 38 years.
The country’s Minister of Information, Thierry Moungalla, made this known in a message he posted on his X handle on Sunday.
As at the time of this report there has been no other information from the Republic of Congo, also called Congo-Brazzaville, in Central Africa.
