The law firm of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana has written to the Chief Coroner of Lagos, Justice Mojisola Dada to request for an inquest into the cause of death of popular musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba also called Mohbad who died under controversial circumstances on the twelvth of September, 2023.
The request is contained in a letter signed by the lawyer’s daughter, Folakemi Falana and shared via social media.
Falana said the request is in line with section 15 of the Lagos State coroner’s law 2007, which provides that an inquest shall hold whenever a coroner is informed that the death of a person within his coroner district is as a result of a death in violence, unnatural or suspicious situation.

Falana alleged that the late singers friends had reached out to her asking for advice as she had assisted some other persons negotiate leaving their record labels of which she obliged but they returned and said they were handling it.
The legal practitioner who said the letter had been acknowledged added that the firm will continue to apply pressure till answers are received.
